I would like to make the audience think that mace is the one going behind their backs besides count dooku in attack of the clones. Just make him mysterious add some depth to this barren wasteland of a story.
Just simple dark motifs and fade outs from scenes he is in would work perfectly. He will be more likeable atleast to the badass fans
