I am grateful for the help I received (which I assure you didn't involve the exchange of money) it just seemed logical at the time to post the request of information about a piece of Blade Runner music on a thread associated with that score.

I made a similar request on a Star Wars related thread, received a similar level of assistance (which I was also grateful for) so I was a bit surprised to check up on this projects progress and find it had this unintended incendiary effect.

There is no need to apologise. Your request for information is part of what this thread is for. As for carrying on, every thread has a troll sooner or later so I consider it good luck.
