David Carradine suicide?

It was auto-erotic asphyxiation, unless he staged it that way so it would look like an accident for insurance purposes (many life insurance providers don't cover suicide).  The BBC's initial report was:

Thai police told the BBC a hotel maid found the 72-year-old naked in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and genitals.

This was changed almost immediately to:

Thai police told the BBC a hotel maid found the 72-year-old naked in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and other parts of his body.

At any rate, this is a very sad day indeed.  Rest in peace, Mr. Carradine - you'll be sorely missed.

This is so sad,  I loved his work. From interviews on the "Kung-Fu" box set, he seemed like a very nice guy.

I just can't wait to hear the mean bloggers post "KILL BILL KILLED HIMSELF!"

Not, i hate when people make sick jokes like that.

Or the Bruce Lee did not die a coward of a suicide.

Or he deserved it because he helped take Kung Foo away from LEE.

Now let me make it clear depression is a horrible illness and terrible disease i would not wish on my worst enemy.

The hardest thing when someone does kill themself selfishly though is those left behind.  Family members and loved ones.

If indeed it was an accident and not a suicide the dude had a sick sexual fetish, to me just sounds like his reps don't want to admit it was suicide.  His ex wife said he suffered from depression.   Indeed in the past he talked on at least 2 occasions about having thoughts of suicide.

The plot thickens!

Carradine's manager disputes suicide theory

David Carradine's manager appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" Thursday and disputed suggestions that the "Kung Fu" actor's death was a suicide. Chuck Binder said he was told "there was foul play." Carradine was found hanging by a rope in a Bangkok, Thailand, hotel, according to police.

That story was updated on the radio again.  They repeated that he had a rope around his genitals as well.  So it was either foul play or he was into that sexual asphyxiation thing.

Yeah, I'd say autoerotic asphyxiation is probably how this one's going on the record. As much as it sucks, I'd rather believe his death was a tragic accident than a suicide.

I think it was a murder by the old school Kung-Fu masters for his disrespect, and being an outsider perverting the arts. He also stole sacred ground from the sacred Shaolin Temple in China. The theft can be seen on the season 3 Kung-Fu boxset in a recent video taped visit he had made to the temple. They killed Bruce Lee too. Just Kidding around. Most likely it was just some high priced (well connected) local hooker who panicked, and then left him like that. Then again, maybe after she got him all tied up like that, she pulled out and unrolled the old wanted poster in front of his eyes proclaiming, "Now the emperor has his revenge on you Kwai Chang Caine".
