Incase someone missed it, i made this large cinema/subway poster from various sources. The resolution is 2700(w)x4172(h) Took some time to complete and i made some artistic changes to give it more depth and appear more fresh. http://home.broadpark.no/~alejoha/poster.rar

Would be cool if it got a little old school touch. It looks to clean and modern. Imho

The Star Destroyer still doesn't look natural up there crammed in with the Falcon.  Put the SD on the left side of Vader's head.

I'm lovin the background, the way it transitions from snow to clouds to orange Bespin sky to blue and finally space and the asteroid field. It basically covers all the settings in the film in a way pleasing to the eyes.

I'm wondering why anyone would want it, that set of artwork wasn't a patch on most of the stuff that came before it. Never liked it in the '90s, don't like it now. What's the point in having a circle motif when only two of the three have a relevant image?

I preferred the work Alvin did for the Celebration posters.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

The middle one isn't as big as the other two.  Should it be?

Pardon me a moment...

I know I've seen somewhere some OT logos done in the style of the PT (like the ones shown in the theatrical trailers)

Could someone kindly point me towards some? Specifically ROTJ?  (...needed for an upcoming video...)

I would appreciate it! :Dic

Slightly off topic, but very much in the same family. I've been hunting for a high resolution image/artwork of the Willow THX Deluxe Laserdisc cover.  Anybody have this?

Sorry to necropost, but this thread needs stickied. I have found it useful many times.

You need stickied!

(how's that for a bump?)

Just get Frink in here to have one of his silly threads.  That keeps a thread on top long past its original purpose or value.  :)

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.
