Is that for both DTS and Dolby Digital versions? I am really sorry to let that slip through. I might have to remaster it again if that's the case.

Yes. I checked both. Not a big deal really.

I used Adobe Premier Pro & Adobe Encore with some things Sony Vegas 8c. Sorry no sample. I put up what I had if you want it, if not move along.

surely you can't expect people to download almost 40GB without knowing what the quality is like. it would be such a shame that so many people will avoid this release due to this. One thing i'm curious about is that you have used the German HDTV broadcasts as the basis for this but they were only 17GB. Why did you decide to do such a high bitrate encode when the video quality can't be improved upon no matter how much extra bitrate it has. wouldn't the quality have been the same if you had made it a single layer blu-ray release?

"I put up what I had if you want it, if not move along."

Damn man did I offend you in some way, just wanted to see a clip is all, sorry for asking.

but thanks for answering my other question,I appreciate it.
So since there is lower level volume on the center channel, will you remaster this like you mentioned?

My stupid ISP is jerkin me around and has really slammed my speed....(grrrr) I wish I could download this by tonight and see it but its going to take until tomorrow night for me....

Does anyone know which version of the Empire Special Edition this is? Are there any alterations from the 1997 or 2004 versions?

Does anyone know if JEDI is being torrented anywhere? My copy must've somehow developed an error as it doesn't playback properly anymore (ie. it crashes 2 mins into the movie and I can't skip past it on the timeline). I figure that that'd be my best bet at repairing the 12.5GB file.

Yeah same here. Comcast stiffs me every time I fire up usenet. My download speed starts around 2000 K/s and plummets to about 765. :|

I believe that's Comcast's "power boost" feature at work, which gives ludicrous speed downloads for a few seconds before leveling off into the 700-900KB/s range.

Will it be possible to get these to play in 1080p24?  I seem to remember hearing that burned Blu-rays can only be played back at 1080p60, but I could be misremembering.

The audio seemed ok to me after testing it on my system. I plan to let it stay as is.

And once again... is this a special edit or just simply the 2004 version in HD resolution? Any other details would be appreciated.

No one is being ungratefull Wookie, but there are some valid questions being asked to you and you keep ducking the questions,so has this been edited in any way shape or form? or is it just the HD version of the 2004 version, and is there a problem with the center channel or not? you have to realise without a sample, people are going to be skeptical and have questions, but by not answering does not help any either, but as you have already stated,I suppose you will just tell us to all move along.

I for one am looking foward to WG's ROTJ. That film needs some serious color correcting....blue stars...eek!

This is becoming almost comical. Star Wars Episode VII: The 40 Gig Mystery. We love your work Wookie Groomer... the whole cloak and dagger routine is puzzling... :)

I did stuff and I left things alone. If you care then you'll find out. I refuse to outline every damn little tiny thing that I did when I friggen just uploaded a super high quality bluray version of this! You people suck

Geeze, someone forgot to take their prozac!

Near as I can tell, no one's trying to come across as offensive or ungrateful, WG. It's just that, for those of us who don't have a T-1 line connected to our houses, it's more than a little unreasonable to be expected to expend the time and resources necessary to download 40 gigs of data without the slightest clue as to the nature of the video we're downloading. No one's asking you to go into extreme detail on this project, only to give a little information by way of overview. But so far you've oddly refused to answer the simplest of questions relating to this project, and that's bit puzzling. No sample, no screengrabs, nothing. I've got better things to do with my bandwidth than download file this massive without a preview of some sort.

Every 27th customer will get a ball-peen hammer, free!

Would you download a 40-gigabyte file without knowing exactly what it is?  Cut these guys some slack!  What they're asking isn't unreasonable - you're being unreasonable.

Wow WG, what's with all the hostility.? All people have asked is a couple of questions. It has nothing to do with if we care or not. The bandwiths limit imposed by many ISP's now has caused many of us to be unable to risk a 40Gb download when we know nothing more about a release apart from it is Blu-Ray format. heck, my ISP's monthly limit is 40GB so for me i would have liked to know a little bit about this release before committing a whole months allowance on a release that may or may not be any better or different than the 17Gb German HD broadcasts i already have ( apart from yours having the English crawl) or the HQ version i did for myself. No one here was being unreasonable and to say that we suck is totally uncalled for. A few screenshots, a sample or some details isn't at all asking too much. I may try downloading a couple of rars and seeing if Vlc will play them
