well i'd say it was highly doubtful. the thing is on the invoice it had June 1st as shipment date so they probably don't even know its been lost. you should have seen the state of its packaging. there is no way it had accidentally got that way. It looked more like it was deliberately opened. After seeing so many news reports of packages going missing and that postal workers were stealing packages all the time or just dumping mail i'm not surprised anymore when something like this happens. now here's the latest. a postal representative rang me a few minutes ago about my compensation claim. he mentioned that i had gone in and claimed the model so they will be closing the claim now. Well i told him that he would have to prove that i accepted it. i asked him if i had would i have had to sign for it and he told me yes. well i then told him that i did not accept it because it wasn't my model and that i signed for nothing and that the package was reposted to the correct person with a note explaining how they were willing to hand over their item to someone else because they refused to resend it and if they want to make a claim against the post office i would be willing to testify against the PO. he then said that they would have CCTC footage of me picking up the item and tried to make out that this would eb evidence enough to protect them. Well that's bullshit. i wasn't stupid anyway. i took the model out of the package, kept the model and the invoice and handed back the ripped package . the model was small enough to fit in my inside pocket out of view of the camera, so to them it looks like i handed the package back and walked out. i didn't sign anything. so screw you PO. lol. needless to say he wasn't too happy on the phone.
