As bad as the '04 version was, they were still good enough for Adywan to fix to what I think is good enough to please just about everyone.

The colors weren't messed up in '97 (theatrically or on the SE Laserdisc release). They saved that for the DVDs. ;-)

Why? Your guess is as good as anyones.

But, I'm one of the few around here that wasn't terribly bothered by the screwed-up colors (the sound problems and SE+ alterations bother me a lot more).
