True (about the rain bit); even if you just show Jango in the shadows to show that he is present would work a bit better - say place him in the foreground in the factory establishing shot; hell, you could take the Boba in the cockpit shot from EMPIRE when the Falcon flies away from the SD junk and show him from behind as he watches the fight from a distance. It just seems wierd that he flies in after Anakin finishes his Crash Bandicoot level.
And would it be sentimental to change his line from "stop right there, Jedi" to "stop right there, friend" ala the Holiday Special cartoon (a character trait Boba may have inherited from his father)?
For some reason, that just had me think of the "Canada goes on Strike" episode from SOUTH PARK:
"I'm not your buddy, guy!"
"Well I'm not your guy, friend!"
"Well I'm not your friend, buddy!"
"Well I'm not your buddy, guy!"...
