Yeah but how cool would have Indy IV have been if Spielberg did it completely old school like he was originally going to do, and drop the alien subplot and come up with a better mcguffin.

There are things i like about part IV Crystal Skulls. The things i like are things other people hated like having Marion return. Indy having a son the wedding scene at the end.

The things i hated were the Mayan Temple turning into an Alien ship. Interdemensional beings, "the space between the spaces". Indy in the nuked fridge. Gophers/Prairie dogs whatever. The monkeys helping Mutt attack the Russians. Kaminsky cinematography not up to douglas slocombe level of being great.

Fake cgi sets instead of shooting on location in the jungle or whatever. The jeep that doubled as a boat and falls down three waterfalls. The Retard OX too much like Jar Jar comic relief type useless character. The triple agent friend of indy's with the bad accent i wanted Indy to just shoot.

The ripoffs of ripoffs like the mummy, national treasure and x-files and stargate.

I did enjoy the classic rock and roll tunes being thrown in there and the references tro American Graffiti like the drag race at the beginning.

Some reviewer called the movie a compliation of George Lucas and Steven Spielbergs greatest hits,lol.

Okay i get it the Aliens are a reference to E.T. and Close Encounters. The Drag race and diner are straight out of American Graffiti.
