I like both your ideas, and ben_danger's video clearly shows something I've thought for a long while: the PT has hardly any of the daah-daah-da-da-da-DAAH-daah-da-da-da-DAAH-daah-da-da-da-da! tune beyond the opening text. I'd like to hear more of it in PT:R and such edits.
