I dont think that the MF is growing or shrinking. Its all about from what angle you shoot it.

Also the MF has the correct size when it passes the bridge and after when its landed at the back.

Im considering more the way that the Falcon shows up when it flies in front bridge. With that particular angle it should hit the SD surface.

Also in the third pic you posted some frames before and later we see some flashes when the lasers hit the shields of MF.

Ady: i remember some tests you were doing when the MF escapins from the 2 SDs in ANH revisited. in one of them you had replaced the flashes with higher definition exlposions/flashes. Are you going to do something similar?
