I watched this yesterday and had fun. The music didn't feel "Trekkie" though especially with the vocalising nonsense. I especially liked the "swirly" transporter effect also.

Can't wait to see a sequel in this new Alternate Reality series. At least we still have all the preceding Star Trek to watch. I take it Star Trek: Enterprise is still valid for this reality? I'm considering it is since Scotty remarked about Admiral Archers beagle in a transporter accident. Nice touch although I doubt it's Porthos.

Bring on the sequel?
