"...I don't think I'll be coming back to this planet anyway," sounds better for him to say cause he's still has no intention of returning to the planet, but he's not as definite about it.

I believe Adywan stated that he changed that line simply because different countries got different mixes and that's the line he was used to hearing in the version he grew up with.

Personally, I like the "never coming back to this planet again" line more, but I can live with it either way. Events in ROTJ are irrelevent in this case because Luke has no idea any of that will happen, and at this moment he wants nothing more than to leave boring old Tatooine and never return. He is very definite in his intention to not come back.
