The ole camo thing looks good on models too (but putting them in motion would mean having to build suits and models and replace the troopers in the footage, unless anyone knows different):

A speeder bike with no one riding it. Interesting. ;)
It's the gentle giant model (the Scout is taking it easy while watching the treeline) :
I think endor needs to look a little more exotic then my backyard, got mockups, lol.

It's a mockup of the armor not the planet, but I get your point.

u know, this would make more sense just for the fact its a forest and the suits would camalflouge them.

Brainstorm on that. But think pracrical how some scenes can change/enhanced.
I already vote for new mattes and some better colors.

It would be nice to mix up the types of trees (huge oversized red woods, ten times the size they should be with thin impossibly tall bamboo like plants that sort of thing).
Make it look more like an enchanted forests of myth.
But mixing in with the shot footage would be a real bugger (it's not like doing Hoth which is mostly wide open ice planes with mountains in the background).
Ewok totems would be nice too (as well as the nasty stormies on pikes I suggested earlier).
It's a shame the creatures in the Ewok films were done on the cheap because there were some nice designs (even if they were realised in really bad stop motion and men in suits, though no superfast bunny rabbits please).
I really liked the look of the Blurrgs for example but not the way they ended up on screen (I haven't seen them in the Clone Wars series but they look like the sort of thing that could be done well if the models were better).
that little guy's screwed!

i am assuming that ROTS:R wont have padme dying, to fit in with her surviving until leia is young enough to remember her, and thus perhaps give it to her.
Adywan isn't gonna go to that kind of trouble for a necklace. Plus, Leia is the daughter of a great jedi. She may think she remembers her mother were in turn she actually has felt her mother. The jedi are hard to understand in that sense. But life finds a way in the star wars universe to continue. Another thing keeping padme alive would be damn near impossible. It would tear the saga apart. and thus be a great continuity error which i hear ady doesn't like continuity errors.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

I think what was meant was to just cut out Padme's death scene altogether. But then there is no evidence of her dying between ROTS and ANH, and viewers would just have to assume it happened, based on Leia's dialogue in ROTJ.
But this is all just ideas being thrown out there. And not necessarily for Adywan, but for any faneditor who would like to tackle this idea somehow.

It's not a neckless it's a symbol of the selfless little boy (all be he played by Jake Lloyd) who became a monster, of the husband who became a child murdering wife abuser.
When it was introduced it seemed clear it was going to be a Chekhov's Gun: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chekhov's_gun but it never really played out.
And this thread is not exclusively an Adywan thread.
It's not the ROTJ:R Thread (people still post ideas here for ESB that have been out and out rejected by Ady) these ideas are for anyone to use if they can get them to work.

i didnt mean keeping padme alive for the OT, but just not killing her off in ROTS, surely leia saying she remembered her mother as a child, yet somehow dying a few minutes after she was born is a continuity error, as you said ady doesn't like continuity errors. why doesnt luke remember her if its felt through the force? that all sounds a bit like an excuse really.
the necklace i thought was just an interesting conversation topic. i should think that the ROTJ should reference some PT elements (depending on what ady does with the PT) as it should wrap things up a bit more.
now that u mention it, i bet leia did remember her mother in the sense she had the blood of a jedi in her. she may have felt her mom's pain after she was born. leia said she could only remember images and feelings. so why not be able to feel her in the force? it makes since! maybe take the word images out of that line.
If the Naboo can take advantage of waterfalls for power why not the Empire?
thats cool
umm...wow.

That looks really nice, Bingo! :)
That would be sweet! I'd like to see a total revamp for the moon of Endor.
I think I'm probably the only one who doesn't want adywan to replace the Ewoks with Wookies in ROTJ: R.

I can't remember a single post suggesting that on this thread but there are loads suggesting ways of making the Ewoks work better.
I did this for laughs, it's the 501st Charity Jog through the Bamboo Avenue of Ewok Town (look out for those blowdarts boys).

Reminds me of the irony of this shot:
It took me a while to realize the irony of the whole rebel alliance team on Endore wearing camouflage except bringing a shiny gold and blue-and-white droid along. I doubt adywan can do anything about that (digitally painting camouflage clothing on them etc.), but it almost seems like a subtle joke so I kind of like it. But I don't think it was intended to be a joke, probably a brain fart or something.
Yeah, that old chestnut.
I was rolling that one around with Angel this morning.
If George and the team had their wits around them they would have put the big golden target in a camonet cloak and the loud silver blue and white one too.
If camotroopers are a doable thing, than maybe that could be too (i'm just not sure if any of those things are doable without reshooting every scene they are in).
Still 4ft long Star Destroyers are popping out of the Adywan factory and there are a lot of other talent lads and ladies here.
I think we have to learn to unlearn.

Well, it's not all bad, if Leia had said something like "I remember her and I played together when I was 3." or something similar it would have been an ironclad plot hole, but being the way Leia says it. "Just images really....feelings." it can work in the context of the SW Universe, but it would not work here on Earth in real life. We are not force sensitive, Leia is. Why can't Luke remember? It's like saying why someone can remember something an another at the same event cannot. Leia seems more connected to her mother, and Luke more to his father.

It doesn't sound like Adywan will get around to ROTJ: R until 2010 or 2011. Perhaps by then, software will have improved to the point where it is easy to do those kinds of things, but I doubt it.
