If you apply this (leaving more movie elements for the audience to figure out as opposed to showing every bloody thing) to the PT:Rs (when you get to them) this alone should edit a good 20 minutes or more out of a lot of them.

There is also the issue with:
(1) dialogue, much less dialogue delivery
(2) the music; take for example the beginning to AOTC with the Queen's ship getting destroyed - shouldn't that have been more dramatic, as Padme almost died? Speaking of which, is there any way this could be altered in a way to make it more dramatic? Maybe showing the senate getting destroyed (not just a bomb in a floating seat, but the building being entirely destroyed. Or maybe show multiple senators being "hit", so everyone in the senate is afraid for their lives - imagine the UN building being destroyed or the reps being killed one-by-one and what would happen...)
