This would be REALLY hard, as Ben Kenobi tells Luke that Vader killed Anakin when in ROTS it is obviously Ben doing the smiting. Granted, you can cut out the Vader suit reveal and the last we see of Anakin is as the smouldering heap on the lava planet, but even then, as soon as Ben tells Luke the story in ANH, the kids will begin the figure it out (though i would still prefer an edit of this nature).

The only other thing I can think of is have another character fight Anakin at the end, and that would require some HEAVY FX work to rotoscope someone's face onto Ewan's and/or some heavy editing. Then you would have to develop said character so they just don't pop up for the one fight, or make it someone we've seen before (Mace Windu doesn't die in the Emperor fight and you don't have Anakin chop off his hands, which would allow him to face him one on one - could have him get hit multiple times and maybe die beside Anakin)... in other words, it would be complicated. On a side note, I would delete the "Anakin choking Padme" scene; makes NO sense if everything he is doing is because he LOVES her.
