It would be epic if we could keep the Vader name from ever being applied (onscreen) to Anakin, and made it look like Vader was actually another Jedi Palpatine had turned either in the years between Ep.III and IV, or even before he took Anakin as an apprentice, with Anakin just another puppet to destabilize the galaxy or somesuch. ....the point is to set up the end of ROTS in some fashion that indicates that Vader is not Anakin, and that Anakin did indeed die on Mustafar as Obi-Wan expected him too.

One thing that could be done is to just show Palpatine kneeling next to Ani after he got Bar-B-Q'ed, and then cut out the 'surgery' scene, (and of course cut-out/dub-over/edit any mention of Ani being Vader). Then, when we see Vader on the [Star Destroyer], we're left wondering "Who's that guy in the black suit next to Uncle Palpy?".

Anyway, the main focus of the video I did was on the Dagobah idea...the other little edits (ie: any mention of sweet Padme dying, etc.) were a secondary concern.

But...it'll all have to wait 'til next week. Happy Mother's Day everybody!
