ANH - 8/10
ESB - 10/10
ROTJ - 5/10

If it weren't for the scenes with Luke (minus anything on Tatooine), Vader (I think I'm one of the few that don't mind that he was turned into a lackey for the Emperor since, well, that's what he was in ANH - in ESB he kinda "went rogue" so to speak) and the Emperor (God bless you, Ian McDiarmid), I'd give it a 3/10. Nothing else about that movie is good.

And no, the Leia/Luke thing did NOT tie the movie up nicely. It was a bad decision that ruined the franchise. Why? Because it made NO SENSE at all!

Even with extensive fan editing (which I'm planning to do), I don't think ROTJ can get much better than a 7/10 without being re-written and re-shot from the ground up.

The sad thing is, I used to like it when I was a kid ... but I liked TPM when it came out, too ...
