According to Doom9 you have diminishing returns with CCE. 3-5 is recommended.
More than 5 is pretty much a waste of time.
Btw, thanks for the link for the LogoTools. I've been using XLogo, which is dated and a bit hamfisted, but I THOUGHT about the only one around.
