There are quite alot of TV shows I’d buy on DVD but they’re not even available. Just figuring I’d make a list of the shows I’m interested in with some notes scattered about. Here goes:

Back to the Future: The Animated Series

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventures (Only care about the Hanna-Barbera episodes)

Dark Skies

F/X: The Series

Gung Ho

MAX HEADROOM

Now and Again

Starman

TimeCop

TOTAL RECALL 2070  (Available on Hulu but read it’s the edited version)

Tremors

Viper

BTTF is supposedly on a release slate for this year. Total Recall 2070 and Max Headroom are easy enough to find on torrent trackers. In fact, all of these series except Gung Ho, Now and Again, Starman and Tremors are on TV Vault, which you should really get in on. Great tracker. I uploaded the Bill & Ted series (both seasons of the cartoon, and the live action one, including the unaired pilot) myself.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Total Recall 2070 was released in Japan on DVD but it's long long OOP.Is it the Canadian/Showtime versions? I own Machine Dreams on DVD though and have wanted to see the rest of the 22 episodes.

I'm interested in BttF Animated in English. Really it's scheduled to be released i.e. BttF animooted.

I'm only interested in the Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures which were from Hanna Barbera i.e. the Movie cast one.

Wasn't there a Logan's Run and Westworld TV series?

There was a Logans Run tv series just like there was an animated version and tv series of planet of the apes.  Both Apes tv shows are on dvd.  Logans Run TV is not as far as i am aware at this point.  It is only a bootleg.

I want Dark Skies but i am unwilling to spend 40 to 60 american dollars for a bootleg set that benefits piracy.

I also wish Wing Commander Academy and that Steven Spielberg Invasion America cartoon, the adult version not the censored were on dvd.

There are other bad sci fi shows that made it to dvd and some that did not Viper had 2 versions neither are on dvd.

The bad tv series produced by the sci fi channel Flash Gordon is available in region 2 and 4 pal but not ntsc, lol.

Dark Skies was different from the X-files and interesting and had Jerry Ryan in it before star trek voyager or during i cannot remember.

Nowhere Man and Space above and beyond were thought to never make it to dvd but were released.

Seven Days time travel show still not on dvd, but seaquest and sliders are.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.

TNT ran the Logan's Run series late night on weekends back in the 90's, so it was likely new video masters were made at the time. It wouldn't surprise me if it pops up in Warner's new burn on demand site one of these days.

"Beyond Westworld" had a very short run, but IIRC, the SciFi channel ran all the episodes in the 90's. They actually dug up quite a few shows that had not been seen since they originally aired. A pity they don't do that anymore!

The ones I'm trying to find are mostly British.

BBC's The Changes (1973): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Changes_(TV_series)

The Devil's Crown (1978): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Devil's_Crown

The Shadow Of The Tower (1972) : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shadow_of_the_Tower

All of which have been repeated requested to get a DVD release (none have ever been released on VHS and only The Changes was ever repeated, once on BBC years ago and once on UK Gold).

The Shadow Of The Tower is particuarly erksome as it forms a prequel to the award winning The Six Wives Of Henry VIII and Elizabeth R.

The Tudors (full of historical inaccuracies and tedious performances gets a full DVD release but those series covered the period so much better and with much greater accuracy).

There is only one show I can think of that I would love to have on DVD and that's Rentaghost. I loved this. Downloaded files are OK but I'd rather have actual product.

Other DVD suppliers are available (possibly some that don't charge such silly prices).

Sadly the other seven series have been blocked from release for a variety of reasons, some beyond the BBC's control.

As for Max Headroom :

How about Marcus Welby, MD?  It's got reruns on Retro Television Network; caught one while I was on vacation, and it seems really neat. I'd be interested in seeing more.
