Good work man. I liked it. I think it would be cool to see.

No reason. After these extensive burns no details should remain at all.

Anyways this mockup reminds me that a man that is burned up should look so ugly with no many details are visible to his face. Its all wrong.

its a mass wound on his all body that is healed.

I have to reconsider how vader should look in the next/future mockup.

I've been thinking about that youtube critique of Luke's plan to rescue Solo.

What if it's not exactly Luke's Plan.

Lando, (as the guy says) make's sense, he's the man on the inside, checking out the layout of the palace and to serve as backup if Leia doesn't succeed.

Chewie is a means to getting Leia into the palace by giving her disguise some validity.

So far this looks more like Leia's plan (something that Chewie and Lando would feel duty bound to go along with).

Artoo and Threepio seem to have wandered in from an entirely different plan (they carry Luke's message and Luke's hidden weapon).

What if Luke told Lando to use his charm and connections to check the place out and told the others to wait for him but when he turns up on Tatooine he finds his sister has the family trait of lack of patience when emotional attachment is involved.

Luke senses this while in Ben's Hut and has to figure out a rescue plan for the rescue plan.

I haven't a clue how to get this up on screen yet but I thought I'd just throw it out there in the hope that it would get the ball rolling.

Also I've never been convinced that Luke would fall for the old trap door routine, he isn't the farmboy of ANH anymore he's a Jedi Knight who managed to get away from being cornered by Vader so I just can't see him standing on the right spot to fall into a trap like that.

Dropping Oola down the trapdoor would be a good set up for twisting the expectations of the audience around.

It might be more fun if Luke avoided the trapdoor entirely (especially if it backfired on Jabba) but found some other way of getting into the Rancor Pit (perhaps while trying to get to the cells to free Han and Chewie).

Any other ideas and how to pull them off?

Love it! tho I think the only way that will be possible is if the Vader part is re filmed and composited back into the existing footage, unless someone with mad 3D skills wants to give it a try, good luck ;)

I loved it how before ROTS came out, people were saying, how can Anakin become Darth Vader already, his voice isn't deep enough yet?

Nooooo! Then they would make a bunch of horrible toys, like Arctic Force Vader in baby blue, and Construction Worker Vader in neon orange, and Hot Pink For Some Reason Vader in hot pink! Just like they do with Batman! :p

Here's Angels' mock up again:

I hope something like this can be pulled off in motion, Vader really needs to be "uglier"

Lovin it! omg sound like a fast food chain slogan but it is brill

i am wondering why are you here? i mean i am wondering wot wud happen if u had more darker burns lol

I still say his head needs to be sanded down a little to get rid of the grandpa Simpson look..

As far as suggestions on what to do, how would it look to take his nose OFF as well as his upper lip so we can see his teeth?  I don't have a problem with the original shot in the overall head make-up, but I would want to see a scar or 2 on his forehead (say from glancing lightsaber blows from a previous fight?).

Here's a funny idea I had... what if the celebrations were before the funeral?  I think it might work, given the proper editing.  Make it so that it's almost as if the ghosts of the three Jedi are reminding him that he has a duty to dispose of Vader's remains.  Also, it would feel darker IMO.  Besides, Luke seems the type who would skip out on the celebration for at least awhile for some alone time.  That is, if the teddybear parade were used instead of the world celebrations - I'm in the minority, but I prefer that to the celebrations (not the music mind you, the celebration).

Vader looks exactly how he should. A man who was burned and put in a suit not being exposed to sun for decades.

I saw you commented that on my YouTube.  It's an interesting idea, but I think the funeral is the closure on Darth Vader with the burning of the suit.  If it came AFTER the closure on Anakin being a redeemed Force Ghost, I think it would be confusing.  I mean, maybe we could give it a shot, but I'm not sure.

Further to my comment earlier I've amended the haunted hut scenerio a bit.

When Luke lands, after completing his training on Dagobah, Threepio, who has been left with the Falcon, says something along the lines of , "Master Luke, I tried to stop them...."

To which he says something like "Oh no...Leia!". (I'm sure something along those lines can be sampled from other sources).

The Hut scene plays out in the evening as he has been planning his rescue plan for the rescue plan that's already gone wrong (he doubts if he can rescue them all alone now Leia has messed up the plan) and Ben turns up to deliver a bit of information which explains Leia's lack of patience....

Haunted house 2

This version would have to play now after Leia has been captured and Threepio wouldn't be able to warn Luke about the trapdoor because he hasn't seen it yet.

The basic idea may be a workable way of restoring certain elements of this lost scene :

This is supposed to be about 24 years later, not 24 hours later after the burns. Nothing wrong with it as it stands already. They intentionally made it worse in ROTS and rationalized he would have had some skin grafts and 20 some years to heal.
