Is it just me, or does Vader look like a conehead?

Just an idea (either for JEDI:R or anyone else's edit): if anyone has seen the 1986 film THE VINDICATOR, would it be conceivable to use some FX and editing (shots of close-up of Vader's eyes/ Luke grimacing as he sees just how bad he is) to essentially show Vader in a similar condition as the man-bot in the aforementioned film (as in: more scars, no jaw, maybe make the breather larger to cover his lack of lips/mouth/etc - more DARKMANish I guess)?

In fact, would it be conceivable to do an edit where:
when Luke takes off the mask, he winces when he sees just how torn up he is and we never see Vader's "face", but just close ups of his eyes as he tries to talk. That way we can still imagine how bad off he looks and you still keep the mystery of what is behind the mask (that pretty much disappointed me when I finally saw it).

I would at least "sand" the top of his head down to more cranial proportions.
