And I like the 'idea' of Leia being in a gold bikini in every single scene of the trilogy as an alternative option.
Ideas and alternatives can go on until infinity. Why not make an option in SW:Revisited to have Luke be in blue squadron and to have blue stripes on his X-Wing? It fits with the novel better this way, and would be a cool idea. As an alternative option of course. Another cool alternative option would be to replace the Rancor keeper with a lion tamer, complete with red outfit and bullwhip. This sort of BS can go on and on.

Ah, but there is a very significant difference between your example and the holographic display? "What is it?" You may ask, what could possibly be the difference?
Ehhem... simply put, the man making the decisions and doing all the work decided to make that decision and do the work on it. Whereas in the case of the holodisplay he decided NOT to. Any questions? No? Good! Hopefully we don't hear another word about that nonsense. It is really great Ady allows us to give him creative input, but when he gives the red light to something, why not consider taking it seriously in some small way instead of outright ignoring it? Just for the sake of giving Ady a break, why not start a new thread if you feel inclined to continue debating over this broken and bloodied horse carcass. Now back to the whole Cloud City as a childrens' toy thing... ;)
