Maybe not all the time, but remember, the death star was orbiting the moon, and the Death Star did not seem to rotate. So that means that sometimes it would be visable in the window. Even if that's not true, just change the geography of the shot so it is. It would look really cool if done right.

Check my previous posts that i tried to add the missing deathstar surface to these shots.

How far do I have to look back, so far I can't find them, would you mind posting them again?
