I see your point ChainsawAsh, maybe it's because touchscreens are still so new to us and we are so used to touching buttons and feeling the spring down and the sound and everything, chalk it up to "experience" as you say.....but touchscreens are here, are new, and definitely are they way of the future, because they free you up: "you don't want the fuel gauge on the left? easy, touch it, drag-and-drop-it on the right, there you go" it's true they almost seem magical, but so did lightsabers back in 77 (and still do now, and yet we almost *feel* them work). If this is not the best place to add the holoscreen, fine as the Ad-man said it, not change it just because you can, but as I said, let's not stay away from touchscreens out of whim, sometimes they help and look cool, reminding us precisely that this is in another time where HOLO-screens are common place.....
