Good points Heks, but I think the only way I would agree is if they went to the warehouse for the Ark for some reason. As it is now, the only real link would be the warehouse and it is already clearly extablished that the warehouse is the same from Raiders. Now, focusing more in Indy and Marion in that opening B&W bit makes sense since the movie deals with their relationship.
