the main problem with this is that having a speeder crash into a AT-AT head and blowing it up would be an almost repeat of what happens to the main AT-AT in this sequence when luke blows it up.

There was also a camera shake in ANH:R when the Rebel ship is hit at the beginning, right before the cut to 3PO and R2
i only added a small camera shake to the opening when the Tantive IV got hit and i added camera movement only to a few frames when the Falcon was caught in the tractor beam to fix a continuity problem where the falcon cockpit was rocking one minute and the next shot it has stopped for a few frames and started again. That is the only camera shake i added to ANH:R I'm not a great lover of all this camera shake business. the PT and many films today overuse it. It seems camera shake is added to almost everything even when a ship flies over head. It just annoys me when its used like this. Camera shake should only be used to imply a heavy impact like when Lukes speeder slams into the snow from the cockpit pint of view, when his x-wing crashes into the swamp on dagobah ( again a cockpit point of view) and when the stardestroyers collide because they all crash to the ground for no apparent reason. i don't like camera shake added for an explosion or when something far away hits the ground.
