Good point. But like Ady said the PT should follow the OT not the opposite. I like the green laser idea( only for the bowcaster not At-Sts haha) it adds some variation.

The suttle flies too high compare to the previous shot. Also we see it coming with speed from inside when previously is near at the end of the hangar. I lower it a bit to match it and fix the lights and color of the hangar.

Also someone Pointed here or in other topic that when luke flies the shuttle a pylon ot something falls very fast.

I see the scene again and the pylon is not falling too fast just when it passes front of the hangar exit (where the bluescreen is) it happens bad keying and some data is losed. thats why the "jump cut" glitch caused.

Just for fun see in several space shots the stick that holds the ships are not fully erased. Note that too in the AT-ST scene (just before the pilot says that rebels spread into the woods) ;)

I don't mind it, but I prefer the cases where the "translating" character does more than just repeat the lines for the audience. Lando's half of the conversation does tend to advance it, so that's OK.

Lando: "We've got to be able to get some kind of reading on that shield, up or down."
Nien: [Our sensors are jammed.]
Lando: "But how could they be jamming us if they don't know if... if we're coming." 

This reads like a normal conversation. The exception is when the character is also translating for another character — eg. in ESB Han translating Chewbacca's lines for Leia's benefit ("Found him in a junk pile").

Come to think of it, a line I wouldn't mind seeing cut from ESB:R is one of these lines. "The city's central computer told you?" is purely repetition-for-the-audience, as seen if we translate R2's lines based on 3PO's replies:

C-3PO: "How would you know the hyperdrive is deactivated?"
R2-D2: [The city's central computer told me.]
C-3PO: "The city's central computer told you?"
R2-D2: [That's what I just said, stupid.]
C-3PO: "R2-D2, you know better than to trust a strange computer!"

3PO comes across as obtuse and slow; omitting the second line rectifies this. The third line gives us all the information we need to know from the second line, particularly given we saw R2 interfacing with the Cloud City computer and he mentioned the Falcon's hyperdrive (translated by 3PO in a non-repetitive way) then.

Is there any way to make the AT-STs (if they're included) cockpit windows look like the AT-ATs, like this:

I always thought that the way they were designed in JEDI made them look like they had droopy eyes (and not threatening).  Even if you had a reflective/black window as opposed to the glowing red/blue ones would still look better.

You know Ady, maybe that is something you could do with the AT-ATs on Hoth.  I know you took out the red windows, but what about reflective windows, like how some windows are on more modern buildings?  They wouldn't have to be mirrored, but more like how tinted windows look when sunlight reflects on them.

It would also work fairly well, I think, if you cut it this way:

C-3P0: "How would you know the hyperdrive is deactivated?"

R2-D2: [The city's central computer told me.]

C-3P0: "The city's central computer?! R2-D2, you know better than to trust a strange comuter!"

I noticed that when I was doing my edit.  Oops, indeed.  A terribly composited 2D explosion and unneccesary redness bleeding onto Wedge.  I don't even understand how that was possible.

If you look closely just before the death star fires for the first time in ROTJ the green ambient green reflected to the dish is already there before the beams come out.

I haven't read all the posts, so I don't know if anyone had already said something similar, but I've always had in mind that a better version of ROTJ could feature some scenes in Coruscant, like in the original scripts. I think could be a great improvement something like this:

After Luke says Leia that have to try to save the father, we see the imperial shuttle take off from the forest moon; the scene immediately change to a view of coruscant from the orbit, in its night side with the shuttle approaching, then we see the shuttle pass between the skyscrapers of imperial city and then landing.

The scene switch to luke released to vader; beyond the windows we see the palaces of coruscant.

Similarly, during the duel between Luke and Vader, we see imperial city beyond the great window behind Palpatine (and all the scenes here could be settled in the imperial palace)

When the emperor show the space battle, obviously, it can't be outside the window, but showed via a hologram.

And when, finally, Luke leave the palace we see the shuttle going away from coruscant.

In this way the we could see some of the actions that will change the galaxy right in its core (the only time in the OT), could be a version nearest to the early draft then the final movie, and the actions of Luke could gain more importance because it's trough him that Vader really frees the galaxy! If the battle take place in the Death Star, well... even if Luke did fail, the destruction of Death Star did kill both Vader and the Emperor... and ends the Empire equally.

Thats for Bingo.

I took the concept from AOTC that shows the battlefield so why not have the same here..
