I share an account with my brother but I just use it for the hyperspace stuff.

I signed up for it awhile back. At the time, I didn't realize there was a forum there. But i refuse to pay money to access information on the website.

I'm a regular non-hyperspace member. Thanks to Jim Ward's kind words for old school Star Wars fans, I had my first post there right after reading his interview.

I was a member for a long time.

Then, when they added Hyperspace, I lost all the access I had previously.

I couldn't post on their message board.
I couldn't post Captions for the pictures.

I wasn't too happy about it. If they had kept the non-paying access along with the paying access, I would have been fine.

I am a member, but I don't subscribe to Hyperspace. I think that we shouldn't have to pay to find out more about the upcoming episodes. Why must we pay! I have been a fan of Star Wars since I was six and now at the age of 17 I know have to pay for knowledge about Episode III!?!? It isn't right, I think it should be free to all the loyal fans, like myself, and countless others who have stood by the Trilogy all these years. It is just another way for Lucas to get more money! (Like he really needs anymore!!)

lol dcsantangelo2005, have you forgotten?: "We love our fans, but this is not a democracy." True fandom is about nodding at every notion from Lucasfilm and transferring all your dough over to them, then - only then - a true StarWars fan, will you be.

LOL. Nothing like a little blind faith, eh?

I'm not a member of the pay or non-pay sites. But I get the information I need.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.

I've been on Hyperspace primarily to view the Clone Wars series and read old Bantha Tracks issues. I don't see how that little bit makes it worth the money, though.

Well, I bought it for the Fiction, Web docs, webcam, Clone Wars with exclusive commentary, old Bantha tracks, Behind the Helmet Pics, the cut scene from Epi.2 where the Jedi board the Droid Control Ship. I think it is worth it for at least this year, but they will have to put alot more out for me to stay much after Episode 3 is released.

yeah that is going to be tough... selling it after ep3.

Maybe if GL finally acknowledged and did more with the huge Expanded Universe, then there would be some stuff to sell.

that would be a cool idea, but only if it doesn't involve the characters from the OT, would be to weird seeing Han, Leia, Luke and Lando interpreted by other people...

btw, i'm also on starwars.com. actually i signed up already back in october but i had forgotten about it. when i read HAL 9000's thread titled "a little help here" (or sth like that...) i also started posting on that forum. my sn there is "the dark lady". chose it back in october and now that i think about it, sounds way much cooler than the one i use here, but well, at least it's clear which one is my fave character... ,)

That sounds like a good idea, man.

Any takers? Bossk, perhaps?

It definately would be a risk, but if you all trust each other in a $$ sense, good luck.
