I don't remember well the perspective and camera movement of the Bespin shot in ROTJ but I think that in order to do that scene we'd need to shoot a true bronze statue if it ever exists. Making a 3D model of Lando with that pose would be another solution.

Maybe the lower "bulb" on the front arm could be used as the ion cannon. It would definitely make these ships more formidable in battle, especially after we saw how vulnerable the SDs were to ion cannons.
Maybe that could be another idea as to how the Executor is destroyed: have it hit with multiple ion cannon blasts as rebel transports ram into it after the ion blasts take out sections of the shields (or the rebel ships with the ion cannons ram into the Executor, as they fire a continuous beam to allow themselves to get through the shields and hit the E). You could still take that shot of it turning downwards, but you would have to add a LOT more damage (along the lines of STAR TREK 3, ST: NEMESIS or the blimp at the end of ROCKETEER) and show the ships ramming into it, either in that shot or a previous one.

You know, here's a depressing idea for an edit:
Lando blows up the reactor and everything happens as it does: Luke gets out and Lando gets out and yells YAHOO! and all that (though I would still thin the fleet outside).
But instead of showing the Death Star blow up as it does, do an ID4 showing the explosions from the weaker reactor underneath the skin of the DS, which remains intact. The DS then does a STAR TREK 3 and enters Endor's atmosphere, where you then take shots from DEEP IMPACT and show the bulk of the DS hitting Endor and wiping out the Ewoks, Leia, Han, Chewie, R2, 3PO and everyone else -not destroying the planet, but just causing a lot of damage around the impact zone.
You would end the movie with Luke taking Vader to the area where his friends used to be to put his body on the pyre. Since it is at night, you could alter the treescape and skyline to reflect a forest that has been pulverized with a shockwave (like after a forest fire).
This way, Lando and Luke survive, but damn near the rest of the cast dies as a result of the rebel attack (talk about consequences!) due to unforeseen circumstances. This is not so much for JEDI:R as it is an idea for any editor to use.

vaderios. i gotta a couple of mock ups u can do. i've always assumed luke got to jabba's palace by a swoop bike. why don't u take the scene where the it shows the huge shot of jabbas palace and the droids are visisble in te bottom corner, take out the droids and put luke on a speeder bike coming up to the palace.
second, that scene in AOTC where anakin just takes off on the swoop bike from the lars homestead and his speeding along the terrain in the twilight, replace anakin with luke.
up for a challenge? i'd be thrilled if u could do this. :)

It would be better if we saw nothing of the hooded figure's face, then we might think it was someone else until Luke lifted his cowl (like Jason's Sidious hologram).

Who is this caped warrior walking so confidently into Jabba's palace?
In the holo message, on Dagobah, in Ben's place he doesn't wear the hood so for a brief moment we won't know who it is and it can cover problems like sticking Luke's head into shots that his body didn't occupy.
I made this montage of production designs for the Rebel Briefing Room/Command Centre, as you might be able to make out the actual set is in the pit in the middle and there is a clear roof open to space above.
I will try and work this into a more cinematic mock up but the gauntlet is thrown to anyone out there with 3D modelling skills.
I know this is a bit far-fetched, but is there any chance for a "broadside salvo" scene like in RotS for the battle of Endor between a Star Destroyer and a Calamari cruiser? Only that rather than the pre-Dreadnought/battle of Tsushima era gun-decks on the ships, it would be something more like large gun turrets, operated remotely by the gun-crews (like WWI and WWII battleships)?
its been suggested already, and i agree, it would be amazing!
id love to see troops from both sides loading guns, as it would add a more dramatic element seeing them getting obliterated on both sides. i could imagine that being quite difficult though.

If its inside the ship you can give to it any shape you want, but if its in bridge or it have open parts that sees to space, the shape should considered.

Here's my understanding of it, the conference space is part of a greater control/command centre.
Forgive the rough abstraction (I literally knocked it out in a few minutes) it's just to show what the area generally looks like.
As to where it is it could be anywhere on the surface of Home One (a very big ship) it could even be underneath the ship as we have seen it.
What looks like a large window from the inside could look like a dot of light on the model.
