As you know I'm really for the two Death Star scenerio as it was in the original script treatment and it makes Jedi less like ANH.

I can't see how having two of the things is any more daft than having one of them and if Ady doesn't do it I'm sure someone else will.

But as I said you don't need that approach to get around Luke getting out in time, you just have him leave earlier.

EyeShotFirst, it makes perfect sense if you read the relavent section of the ESB/ROTJ thread.

Palpatine lets the Rebels know about the Death Star being built around the forest moon so he can trap the fleet and destroy them with a second Death Star they don't know about (where Luke and Vader fight).
