You know, after seeing it, I really like that idea. I think my problem with showing the galaxy-wide celebration smack in the middle of the Endor celebration is that it is just too quickly done. It's not just a matter of "how did they hear about the Emperor's death so quickly" and "what about the rest of the Empire"; editing-wise it is very awkward and kind of thrown in there.
Regardless of whether YUB-NUB the song should be there, the first victory we see should be on Endor-only per the original movie. Being that this is essentially the LAST STAR WARS movie, I think that it would be even more appropriate to show the celebrations around the galaxy behind the credits (I like how you slowed them down a little - it gave it a very 70's vibe somehow - didn't feel rushed like the original edit) being that we have some time between the original Endor-only celebration and the end of the movie - thus the impression of time passing for word to get out, as well as the movie coming to a complete end with the celebrating coinciding with the end of a 6 movie saga.
Ady: while EPISODE 1, 2 and 3 may be scheduled after JEDI, JEDI is essentially the last film in the series, so please keep that in mind when considering how to have JEDI end (as it is the end of all 6 movies).
I also have to commend you on how you tied the visuals with the music ques. Nice touch!
