Well, I’ve been pondering about a bit of this. I’ve got no images but still, I know I certainly want to detach the numbers from the Star Wars films. No ‘Episode IV-V-VI’ shit.
I guess the original could just be Star Wars with the original title and opening crawl and yellow text.
But for The Empire Strikes Back, I’d use the original logo used for it on posters and such (the flat one, not the slightly rotated one), and blue-coloured text along with an arrangement of The Asteroid Field which then flows over to the original tune when we first see the Star Destroyer approaching.
Then, with Return of the Jedi I’d think of picking the Special Edition logo in a bit of an orange hue, mainly because the original already had STAR WARS on it and it’d probably not make sense of putting STAR WARS back on the title. That being accompanied with a rearrangement of Approaching the Death Star, preferably something in the likes of the one used in the Super NES game.
If anyone knows a program to do these opening crawls and such in, I’d gladly use one to make an example of what I’m approximately thinking should be implemented.
I hope most people here understand what I’m trying to say.
