well yeah, i noticed that too. i personally would like to see a PT that has been retrofied to have the same feel as the OT. not saying the PT was bad, just not the PT i wanted.

Retrofied? No Coruscant? It would never had the exact feel unless it was made and first watched by us around the time we watched to originals the first time.

We had a Tantive IV, Lars Homestead, Star Destroyer bridge and other things that look just like the OT, seriously what did you want? The prequels were set on mostly heavily populated planets, the OT was set on mostly low populated planets. 10,000 SW fans want the movies 10,000 of different ways, a movie can't be made custom for all.

did my opinion upset you or something? i loved coruscant.

I think the point ben_danger was making is that the PT doesn't have the same visual feel as the OT. Yes, part of that is due to having populated settings vs. unpopulated ones, but part of it too is that the PT seemed to be missing that used universe feel. I know their exist popular explanations for this (it was before the Empire, Naboo was a rich, artisitic planet, etc.), but when it comes right down to it, a lot of the environments in the PT didn't feel lived in like they did in the OT. I could believe Luke spent hours in his garage. I could believe Han and Chewie clocked hours upon hours in the Falcon. I could believe the rebel bases on Yavin and Hoth were working structures. Naboo, Kamino, and many parts of Coruscant, however, look pristine and unused, and hence unrealistic.

The PT weren't about smugglers and farmboys with piece of junk looking ships like the OT was. They made things look used in the PT when they were needed. Why would you want all the Naboo ships to looked scuffed up when they probably had not even yet been used anyway? I can point out a lot of things on Tatooine in the prequels that have scuffs and dirt, and wear on them. The main point, as I said was these enviroments (besides Tatooine) were not the same ones as in the OT therefore that would not be the same. They even had the same Lar's garage built for AOTC did you forget that? As I recall it didn't exactly look clean & pristine either. Naboo looked just as used as Italy does, would you really want it to be dirty everywhere? Kamino was supposed to be pristine. Why would you want senatorial offices on Coruscant to be dirty and used looking? Did you see the back streets behind the Nightclub scene (Zam interrogation), they were filthy. I think there is more wear and dirt in the prequels than you think.
