I'm going to get some heat on this, but can we "stay on target" and not flood this thread with Monty Pythonesque banter back-and-forth for 20 messages about anything OTHER than EMPIRE:REVISITED?

If you like the Prequels, Great!  If you don't, Great!

Ady is going to do his thing eventually, and we will be there to professionally suggest.  The end.  <:D

BTW, I think it is going to be very hard to salvage the Prequels, even more so than JEDI.  After watching JEDI again recently, I noticed that despite the rather good acting we received with the main cast from the first and second films, the line readings were a little more on the "hokey" side in JEDI - there is something that is not quite natural (the words when Mark, Carrie and Harry speak are too enunciated and slower, like talking to a child), with maybe the exception of Billy D.

The Prequels are even worse - rather than enunciating things to the point of sounding like you are reading a children's story to.. well, a child, the voice work and acting is rather flat or off in just how the emotion is put out (which I think has a lot to do with the excessive green screen usage - nothing for the actors to really react to, which was the case for Christopher Lee - he's said so himself).

So even if the editing and FX work is fixed or finagled, you can't fix the acting or the dialogue, and that is what killed the Prequels, at least for me.
