Could R2 use his rockets to get into the X-Wing when Luke is on Dagobah when Luke leaves to help Leia and Han? As we saw on ANH, it seemed liked a big production to get the droids in the ship. But then in ESB there isnt anyway for him to get in.

I know this was breifly covered a few pages back but I though showing R2 boosting his way into the X-Wing and/or boosting his way out on Cloud City.

Using rockets right next to a vehicle in the middle of a swamp, might turn out to be explosive.

If R2's rockets were to make a OT appearence it makes more sense to me that he would use it to escape Jabba's barge (and an awful slapstick gag) in ROTJ.
