Yeah, for the most part I'm following the discussions. The grounded conversations are good reads. I find it interesting seeing how different people respond to additions to the stories & characters they're passionate about - not just Trek, but any film series.

For the record, it's entirely possible I won't like the film myself. There are a few scenes that seem overly stylized or trendy, but I'll give it a look. Man, it can't be any worse than some of the others and, to me, it looks to be better than some of them. But again, we'll see.
