Hello all!!

Just to let you all know that we've got a great interview with Nick Gillard on the STAR WARS AFICIONADO website. It's the most definitive interview with Gillard done yet about his work on the STAR WARS Prequels, which I think you'll all find very interesting, especially regarding cut scene info..

Wow, there was some truly interesting stuff there. My favorite part was the Anakin/Girlfriend analogy.

It was interesting to see that Gillard was on set of ESB when the Luke stunt-double was defenestrated through the bespin gantry window.

I like the shots of the big fights from each movie, as the sets become more and more virtual.  Huge hanger deck set, sand on the floor for Geonosis, a big green room for Mustafar.

Thanks for the article. :)

Did you catch that bit where he says people around Lucas should be brave enough to say "No" more often?

Thanks for the article, it was a great read. Gillard seems like an interesting guy, his contributions seem to have added alot to the films.. or the film and 2 videos.. or.. whatever.

Too bad for Gillard he worked as a stunt co-ordinator on three videogames masquerading as movies, unlike Bob Anderson who worked on three great star wars films in the only real star wars films at least to me.

To me this is star wars canon.

Star Wars 1977

The Empire Strikes Back 1980

Return of the Jedi 1983

Its really a shame too as Ray Park's Brilliant martial arts work is entirely wasted on a bad film with fart and poop jokes and bad cgi from the late 90's.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
