Just a quick update....

I've fixed Vader's helmet wobble on the vane. It was a real pain to do and a few sleepless nights.

Now to answer some of the things recently mentioned...

1. i won't be adding any more TIE's to the Falcons escape from Bespin or Hoth. There is just no need to add any more. The Empire isn't trying to destroy the Falcon so why would they send a whole squadron of TIEs after them? When they escape Bespin the TIE's are just herding the Falcon towards the Executor. 4 is plenty for this

2. When the falcon jumps to lightspeed the angle is perfect as it is. so there will be no change there.

again interesting but this would be an unnecessary addition

May I Suggest using that as the background for the chapter selection page on the DVD!

its to damn good to go to waste ADY

damn, i don't want to even think about the DVD structure yet. I'm only half way through the film. lol

Ady i forgot to ask, are you going to have any background changes to hoth battle so the weather is the same all the time?

-Angel

A few shots need the sky changing but i will be keeping most of them as they are now.

Ady, something else to look at where the mattes meet the set footage on the SD bridge. Can these be smoothed and blended more/better? Where Vader walks the floor looks white/light gray and it is darker where the matte begins on the floor.

actually the matte is pretty good at representing the set lighting. as you can see from this pic the floor part of the matte has the light area so the set would have been illuminated so that vader was in a sort of a spotlight so you focus is drawn more towards him which wouldn't have worked so well of the floor and surrounding were brightly illuminated equally.plus the window matte doesn't end where you have pointed but the matte ends at floor level so no blending problems.
