Dangerous Incorporated said:Each to their own! As was said, its Adys edit. Thats like some models saying that they dont like to show their boobs as its better to leave it to the imagination but Id rather see the boobs. Just like here (no I dont wanna c the wampas boobs), Id prefer to see the wampa. If you were there, wouldnt it be scary seeing the wampa come after you? (Not if you're a future Jedi!)

I'll have to side with those saying less is more where the wampa is concerned. It's not a matter of "forgetting" what the SE wampa looks like (as Sevb suggests), but rather making the scene the best it can be dramatically. In this case, the scene is better with only hints of the wampa visible because it creates a greater sense of suspense (a roar here and an arm there makes the viewer's anticipation of the appearance of the creature that much greater). As someone pointed out earlier, it's the same issue as not seeing a clear shot of the alien in Alien -- the lack of a definitive view of the creature makes it much scarier because it's unclear what exactly you're dealing with.
By the way, has Ady stated what he'd be doing with the wampa fur exactly?
