Star Wars: Renascent *** NOW AVAILABLE!!! *** — Page 7

Mine is being edited in 5.1 surround sound and I have my 5.1 system hooked up to my computer so I can test each individual speaker as well. And regarding the music selection, I've got it down flat. I have about 20-30 GB of Instrumental music to chose from. And how am I putting it in? Mainly I'll be adding music to the scenes that lack it and I'll also be adding it to scenes where the music's volume is low and going through each audio channel and playing with the Frequency of each channel then putting 6 new audio channels through and adjusting the frequency of the music for each speaker again to give the best experience possible. (Subtle instruments in the back, drums from the base, strings from the front and vocal/choir from the center speaker). Do you guys know how to access the Equalizer for the Audio Frequencies of each individual audio channel using Vegas?

Well good luck with that.

Just add the eq audio effect to each track.  A $30 book on vegas from Amazon would do you wonders.

You guys should use Buckethead's* song "Star Wars" as an easter egg. Haha. Let me know if you want it.

*the guy in my avatar

I take it you've heard of Lord Buckethead who (I assume) predates Buckethead by some years? He stood for election in the UK up against Maggie Thatcher, got a record in the charts and even starred in his own movie.

^Nope, that's new to me. Pretty funny. :) I kinda doubt he would've known about this guy, though, as he was a 17 or 18-year-old Californian kid when he made up the character. Lord Buckethead does predate the guitarist by a year or two, though.

I'll have to mention him at the Buckethead forum and see if any of our UK friends know him. Is the movie any good?

hello, so guys, i don't know anything about production, making or editing a movie, but i have been following this project for a couple years now. even back to the guy on youtube.

so when do you think this will be done? just looking forward to it. the "reborn" clips look awesome. so i could imagine how this blending of movies would look.

i hope original sounds mixed in with what i've heard so far bring a whole new feeling.

just anxious to see and or buy it.

thanks

Well, there's a been a few offshoots of the original concept (including this one) around the boards, but no one has really shown any actual progress being made yet.  I've seen no clips or screenshots or anything for almost a year now...only rumors that work is still going forward, but no real evidence.  So I'm guessing things are still in the most preliminary of stages.

there you are, infodroid, why did you put a hault to it? i really like your clips on youtube.

fantastic. i was hoping it was gonna be done in 07/08 the vibe and feel you gave the clips blended awesome, music choices rocked.

just a big fan here. i'm not hip to what you youngsters can do.

Hahaha...Thanks!  We worked on it for three years, and I just finally got burned out on it when I realized that we weren't going to be able to change things to the extent that we really wanted to.

I was pretty much finished with all things Star Wars for quite a while.  I went off and did a couple of Indiana Jones edits by myself.  "Wandering in the wilderness".

Lately, I started getting into the Clone Wars TV show and it kind of rekindled my love for Star Wars again.  And since nothing has really materialized with anyone else's version of our idea, we were thinking of maybe doing a "compromise" version of Reborn.  Not the version we really wanted to do, but one more in the realm of possibility, just to be able to get our orginal ideas out there.

But I dunno.  We'll see.  I don't want to hook anybody until we have a finished product this time.  So, at this point, it's just something you may possibly see pop up in the future.

Do I hear $150?  150?  One-fifty?

NOOOOOO!  You know none of us do this for money.

A) It's illegal.  So, don't even mention it.  Makes me feel tainted.  LOL!

and

B) Whenever I get paid to do something, that automatically turns it into a job.   :)

And we all know how we feel about our jobs.

No, no...I'm flattered, but IF this becomes available, it will be %100 F R E E.

BUT, thanks anyway!

this is what got me going, the end of this scene, the flashbacks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QhrrynMFiM

at this moment in this new ending, it really gave more character to Vader. it told more and gave more to what he was thinking, and made me realize, man, if this was in the film or an edited version, this would have been sweet.

of course anymore throughtout the films would have made my life of following starwars and my interest complete, then i seen your stuff on youtube and i was like.... finally!!

i just hope one day it gets done, doesn't have to be perfect.

Speaking of Info's Indy (Wandering) edits, you for sure need to check out his Temple of Doom edit... I don't watch another version anymore.

Yeah I was planning something similar. It was in the modern novel of ROTJ and that's where that idea really came from.

This time around we are talking about adding in flashbacks of the Christmas special to give Leia & Boba Fett's character more depth.

I wouldn't call it a Z-Movie, I think we would have to invent quite a few letters after z to really describe how awful it is.

Here's the deal guys,  we want to dress ID up as a female Twilek dancer and film some scenes with him and a Han Solo look alike to use as a love triangle in ROTJ.

Of course we don't have a camera to do this so let the donations begin!!
