According to what I've read, when Prowse saw the film at the premiere, he leaned over to George Lucas and said, "You know, if you had told me that was the line, I would have played that differently."

Yep, only Mark Hamill was told about it few minutes before shooting the scene.

Nice! I tried to isolate Veers in light, as if there was a spotlight shining only on him, but I don't think it came across just right.

This is great!, Now all we need is adding little subtle movements to Veers and we have an ESB deleted scene back in the movie! lol
I like the idea of leaving the guards there, it adds more intimidation and security.
Also, it gives us a subtle idea of how Veers knows at all that he has to wait. There would have to be some indication that it wasn't safe to enter and when it was.
I expect it'd be unusable in the movie, but that shot would be awesome for say the special features menu screen.
Like waiting to go into the Big Brother diary room!!

Who needs security? Vader? :P more for officers hehe.
Also it make sense the officers wait outside. I mean is like "General Veers Lord Vader commands to talk with you" Veers is going and wait until the door opens from itself... is like when vader goes to Emperor throne room and he waits a bit and he talks only when palp talk first..

Not too sure about the red strip light vaderios (it doesn't look very Executorish it looks a bit more Death Star II'ish if you get my drift) the rest looks cool, it would be nice to see how it looked in the right picture ratio too.

heh the red strip is placed only to help the eye to locate the general. also it supposed to be different part of the ship. Also i add the red as sight of power etc..

Angel,
Any chance of expanding the sides out to fill a 2.35:1 frame? I took Bingowings' suggestion and cropped it myself, but doing that loses the "smallness" of Veers in the image. Expanding the sides would make hime even more isolated and, for lack of a better word, small.
