Why the hell is everything pink, whats more is that I've never noticed it! Sometimes I like that tint on the movie because it gives it a certain feel, but most shots look so fresh without it.

As I posted elsewhere I'm looking into the possibility of adding the extra Darth Maul dialogue from TPM game into the film footage, I can't see why not if it matches the footage.
Jengo is easier to do because he is behind a helmet (so no lipsyncing problems).
Again, amazing work on those shots, Vaderios. The colors look like fresh produce...while the stale DVD versions look over-ripe. In fact, I think the film IS over-ripe for some color-correction.
Bingowings, is the additional Maul/Jango dialogue posted anywhere? I'd be interested to know what's available.

AE is completely different than PS. Also i dont know anything about compressions and exports. Like i said i give ideas to other editors to do it in motion ;)

nice color correcting. One thing that always bothers me about TPM is the scene with Obi Wan and Qui gon talking about picking up "another pathetic lifeform". Obi Wan's braid is on the wrong side! Lucas himself even said they did it on purpose and forgot to flip the shot. That would be one main thing to fix. Either move his braid digitally or flip the shot.

I agree no Dooku on the Council mostly because we have Qui Gon who was quite defiant and this trait he got from Dooku, if they wouldn't Qui Gon on I don't think Dooku would of been. It would also bring up alot of issues between Dooku apprently never meetin Obi Wan before, everyone remember from episode 2?

Yaarel Poof! I'm so glad that stupid name was never mentioned on screen, only George would allow such a thing.
It's lucky that George didn't make him a major character, the idea of little kids lining up to buy Poof action figures and the fallout from that added to the racial caricature accusations would promote more facepalms than the human head could survive.

Thanx for the pic! Never noticed before lmao. Yareel Poof was a definate eye sore in the movie, not too sure about Yaddle though. Kinda liked the idea of this female version of Yoda but i do admit I do like the idea of Yoda being one of a kind in the films. Believe there was a Jedi by the name of Master Vandar in KOTOR that was a blatent rip off of Yoda, makes Yoda bit extra special being the only one.

Yes. I always found these type of replica characters lack of creativity and marketing purposes.

Again, Vaderios, this is great! I think Adywan should definantly go down this road when he gets to the PT:R. I also hope Adywan will mimick the style of shots seen in the OT (more pan/tilt/zoom/static shots). Not all space shots HAVE to have the camera doing "fancy" movements...hmm...it's also the movement of the ships. Sometimes the ships in the PT are moving so fast (or maybe it's because they're CGI) and crazy they look and seem weightless.
Vaderios, just for fun...can you tackle a few other shots from the PT? Naboo space battle...Jango/Obi space chase...ROTS opening battle...?

lol well....I hope you know what I mean. It's hard to put into words...but the look and movement of the ships in the OT have (IMHO) a completely different feeling than in the PT. I think it comes down to CGI rendering/lighting and animation. Some of the ships don't "feel" tangible. ALL of the ships in the OT have that tangible feeling. That's becuase the ships in the OT were actual tangible models that were lit with real lights (not virtual ones) and then filmed with a motion control camera. Also the animators of the OT seem to understand that the ships needed to move like airplanes...like what we know in the real world. They got it right in a few shots in the PT-...usually those shots involved actual models.

I never minded the outer space effects in the PT. Cg ships is no t as big a deal for me as cg creatures. In contrast, some of the ships in the OT can sometimes look 2 dimensional because of the compositing abilities available at the time.

Well put. Yoda should be the only one. Another thing that drives me up the wall is Orange and Yellow lightsabers grrrr i hate EU for crap like that! Blue, Green and Red are and should always be standard colours. The other colour that is exceptable is purple, love to idea that Windu searched for it but on a planet called Hurrikane.

Great idea of replacing Yaddle with Shaak Ti in TPM, Vaderios. It could create some a nice bit of continuity between TPM and AOTC.
As for the same shot of the Jedi Council appearing in TPM and AOTC: I believe it's mentioned on the audio commentary of the AOTC DVD that the Council scene originally wasn't in the script, and that they decided to add it later. They created the scene using bluescreen footage of Ewan and Hayden, and pasting the scene together using templates and footage from TPM.

Think all it needs in this shot it the cloaks more defining, they seem to blur into the floor slighty on this. Thanx for the upload didnt know bout the recycled footage. maybe we shud create a large list ready for Adywan lmao
