would be awesome to see the city shrink away as if the falcon flies away imediatly as not to lose a single second of opportunity.

how about this for a new inserted 5 second shot (or even smaller):

when the musical cue changes from the 'rescue' scoring to the faster paced 'escape' music, it would be cool to see a shot from the cockpit perspective and the full bespin panorama quickly rotating around as the falcon changes direction. maybe the initial viewing could see TIEs approaching in the distance.
