Maybe everyone elses are upside-down. He is the high ranking trooper, after all. You don't get promoted if you put your armor on wrong.

It might be possible to make something like this and digitally remove the puppeteers, it would add a sense of weight to an AT-AT close up, especially if the camera was undercranked and the footage manipulated.
Very true would like to see this happen as long as it didnt look outta place :D

If i could get hold of that there is so much i could do with it for this edit.
We need this guy to lend this wonderful item to Adywan....NOW! Nice link Bingowings. :)
I just wrote to him "Youtube e-mail" in english (he speaks english as well) explaining him what's going on as short, clear and polite as I can, and notified him about that mail in a comment on that video. I hope he will see it and write back. Maybe everybody should write him an e-mail on Youtube :-))))
Not sure if this has been brought up....but Adyman, are you gonna sort this At AT cockpit Snowtrooper dude out??
He's all nice a shiny...plastic looking....and all the others are, well...not!! Never quite understood why.
Maybe because he's still in the AT-AT and hasn't gotten out to go into battle yet?
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.
^Ding ding ding! Makes sense to me, anyway. He has rank pins on too, so maybe he's meant to stay in there and co-ordinate or something.

Ha! I didn't notice the flipped pauldrons (hey, I actually remembered that word, so I'm gonna use it) before. :)
I actually like some of these lines, Could some of them be used be extending the shot of Leia looking out of the window?
The footage itself is pretty much beyond restoration.
The snowtrooper in the AT-AT cockpit is an officer (notice the blue and red rank badge). His uniform is meant to be different.
You know of the rebellion against the Empire?
There were some other differences with that Snowtrooper Officer too. I wonder why you never see any altered Stormtrooper armor beyond Sandtroopers. I think the blaster is sorta like a Han Solo blaster but different.
Hmm, now I'm starting to wonder which version of the snowtrooper I did as a Lego man. I'll have to check.
Regular, I guess. I did use those pics you posted as a reference for some of the detail, though.

Looking beautiful, ady. These have gotten me even more excited than the video clips have! I love the backgrounds and colors of Bespin -- like a previous poster said, I can't believe the DVDs were quite so bad -- they look downright unwatchable next to yours.
Also, out of curiosity -- why did you flip the Executor bridge shot (minus the section in the middle, with Vader)?
As always, thanks for sharing! These are awesome.
All the best,
Sojourn
Beautiful images, Adywan, ESB is looking better than new.
I've read the list of changes in page 1 and I have a doubt: Have you noticed that Luke turns his head early to look at the Millennium Falcon taking off in Hoth?:
Greetings.

I know that it's been mentioned before, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Regarding this scene, it seems Luke heard the sound of the Falcons engines, then turned in time to see it fly past. With his helmet on, he wouldn't have any periphery vision so the falcon would not have caught his eye unless he heard it first. I don't see this scene as being a blooper. It flows pretty naturally.
This scene might be improved if possible by tracking the path of the falcon for just a little longer. Maybe.

If he didn't have any periphery vision, he would have been looking even more straightly at it or behind it, not looking far ahead of it.

Yeah, but can't see where Luke's eyes are pointed at once he turns around.

Nice find Bingowings! I also agree that the footage is beyond repair.
Welcome back Vaderios
One thing to make sure about the Cloud City scenes is to NOT repeat/re-use cloud patterns (Even mirror/reversed ones) unless it's in the same scene seconds later which is rarely the case. In the SE shots of the the hallway with the people listening to Lando's intercom announcement the same buildings and clouds outside the windows were used in reverse (Flipped/mirrored) later when Leia and Lando are shooting at the troopers just before they escape on the falcon. A new matte of buildings and clouds should be created for one of them so the shots are not repeated. I hate reused mattes even in flipped/mirroed shots, they are always obvious to me.
On to the same subject of flipped shots, the Naboo celebration added to the end of ROTJ was flipped from EP1, they added all the crowds celebrating, but they could have at least changed the lighting and put all new cloud patterns in the sky. That would have helped a lot.

It might not be beyond restoration if Lucas released all the cutting room floor stuff to a professional team but I can't see that happening.
The level of acting in these clips is better than anything in ROTJ let alone the prequels. Harrison is very Han here in a way that he can't seem to bother to be in ROTJ.

I suppose yea just im presuming that because Harrison believed Han Solo should of died in this episode he didn't really wanna act as much :S?
