Yeah. The thing with the quicksand lesson is if it appeared in a movie like Raiders or Temple of Doom I wouldn't really have a problem with it. But KOTCS has such a lighthearted tone overall with no real sense of peril, I needed to take some drastic action. Thats not to say I'm cutting every last attempt at humor though. The quicksand scene still has the Ox "help" laugh and the snake and Indy's reaction to hearing he has a son.
