I know this is a silly question and you can not give direct links but does any one know how I can get a copy of STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED by ADYWAN I have checked torrents but they are long out dated with no seeds, have been looking at the visual comparisons and think its amazing can any one help me obtain a copy of this fantastic looking release????

 Are you kidding? There's plenty of torrents around that are still alive.

I got the .avi file, but when ever I try to put it on a DVD+R or a DVD-RW my dvd player says, "cannot play disc". Then I tried converting it to .mpeg2, but it still won't work.

So how do I put it on a DVD+R and be able to enjoy it on a TV, not a computer? I have the full versions of the AVS Media programs.

I mounted mine on Roxio Toast and it has got the double thumbs up from my very fussy cousin on his 50 mile long rear projection screen with Dolby-wreck-the-street-a-round-sound.

There are many other similar programs out there.

I'd recommend downloading the DVD-9.  It's ready-to-go DVD files, you just burn to disc and you're set.

Problems with that: It's an 8-gig file (ballpark), and if you don't have a dual-layer burner and dual-layer media it's pointless.

If that's the case, get the DVD-5, which is around 4 gigs and is a single-layer DVD, but again, all the files are ready to go.

Converting from a low-bitrate (compared to the DVD-5/DVD-9) AVI to DVD will yeild substantially lower quality than downloading either of the two DVD versions.

Well if that's the case then I guess I can just forget about watching Revisited on a TV then. But thanks for the information, the problem is that downloading the 1-gig .avi took a day and a half, so I absolutely cannot download something thats 4/8 gigs...

But anyways, thanks for clearing things up.

Is there anyone out there that can point me at where to get the DVD-9 version in PAL format please? It seems to have gone AWOL :(

Ady sent me a PAL DVD-9 for PIFing way back when, which I offered copies of right here in this thread, but the response was hardly overwhelming...

So here it is again, one more time - I'll send three copies out to the first three folks to PM me. UKers would be preferred to save on postage!

I'd really love to get the NTSC DVD-9 Revisited and I do feel a bit overwhelmed facing all this newsgroups thing. Would anyone care for a PIF? Thanks in advance, and especially props to ADYWAN for his amazing work!! The AVCHD's also look unbelievable in their own way too.

Hi! Thanks a ton! Unfortunately I live in Spain, which in this case although I have a P.O. box may complicate things a bit. As you suggested if no one from Britain or the continent shows up, I can forward you the amount including the extra USPS International (or whatever that's called) added costs and then if you can you could send it. (1) spread the love

(2) ask for download links, references, clues, etc

(3) discuss any problems with edit, downloading said edit, etc.

This is supposed to be strickly regarding the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: REVISITED edit and suggestions as to how to do that edit if Ady wants to consider them (by strickly I mean how a football stadium is strickly for football: still plenty of room to move around in, but still all about football or some other sporting activity other than racing cars).

Again, I know I'm being an ass here, but the bigger this thread gets with things unrelated to what it is supposed to be, the harder it is going to be for Ady to sift through the posts and check them out.  Save the JEDI:REVISITED stuff for that thread when it's posted AFTER EMPIRE:REVISITED is finished and available for download. 

And Vaderios!  Where've you been!  We miss you!

I think you have your threads mixed up there Monroville, this is the ANH:R thread (i get a bit mixed up sometimes myself).
