What about those old pale guys in purple and red robes that hang around the Emperor in ROTJ?
i looked them up on wookiepedia. they're dark force sensitive advisors. makes sense. i can't see them as lightsaber wielding villains in the Old Republic but they don't make an appearance in the prequels
