When Luke downs the AT-AT and its head explodes, the screen goes black right before the next cut. I guess this was done since there's no flying debris (originating from the head in the close up shot) in the following full shot of the walker.
Adding some random falling artbeats debris in the full shot could give way to eliminate the black screen and tie the clips together more elegant.
