Here are a few suggestions:
(1) add a moving star field - the stars do not have to be moving fast, but it could be something to play with just to see how it looks (being that the moving star field during the MF escape in ANH really added to the scene).
(2) moving the top/right SD more to the right side of the screen to account for the farther distance between it and the Avenger in the following shots. I also understand that having the star field moving here and the following shot would look strange, being that it would give the impression that the front 2 SDs are slowing down and even moving in reverse (which could be interesting in of itself, being that the other commanders would be doing some sort of evasive manuevering) still, something to play with, being that it may add to the sense of vertigo the scene already implies visually.
(3) you could use this shot from ANH (move the right SD more along side the left SD) to replace the distant SD shot in image (1) - these are a bit closer and thus allow us to see more detail, not to mention the SDs probably should have been closer (to the MF, not each other), considering how fast they closed in on the Avenger in the following shots.
I also think the reverse bridge shot looks fine, not to mention it should be a lot easier to flip Needa's rank placement than mess with what is outside the window.
On another note: the sounds of the SDs crashing together in the bridge shot could have been the shields of both SDs hitting/repelling each other, as opposed to the physical bulk of the ships making any sort of contact themselves.
